I have lived in Carol Stream since 2005 with my husband and three boys. My family and I were welcomed as soon as we moved in. I truly believe that it is the best town to live, work and raise a family.
Carol Stream is a very active and giving community. We are fortunate to have so many organizations and dedicated people volunteering with them. Giving back to my community is very important to me. I am very involved in volunteering in our town. I was honored to be named the 2009 Female Citizen of the Year for my volunteering efforts. I am proud to have worked with or continue to volunteer with:
- Carol Stream Police Department
- Carol Stream C.E.R.T member (Community Emergency Response Team)
- Carol Stream Woman's Club
- District 93 Summer Lunch Program
- Carol Stream Park District
- Corpus Christi Catholic Church
- Carol Stream Christmas Sharing
- Carol Stream Citizen of the Year Committee
- Young Men's Service League
- Carol Stream Community Wide Food Drive

- Jay Stream Middle School PTA
-
Heritage Lakes PTA

For 10 years I worked for the Carol Stream Park District planning and running the family and community special events. Getting to know and interact with so many people and impacting their lives is a humbling experience.
I am fortunate to meet new people all the time and have found that Carol Stream isn't just a town, we are a Community. I thank the residents of Carol Stream for allowing me to continue to serve them as Village Trustee.
